It has four private bedrooms, two with California King beds and two with queen size beds. The Vermont Soapstone fireplace next to the bar in the lower level will certainly be the center of most of your gatherings where visitors will gather around the fireplace for late-night chats and build the kind of relationships that great teams are built on. Staying at the Dome Home is not just a reward or a company outing but a true investment in your employees and the company. Adjacent to it there’s a recreation or “family” room (original blueprints gave the option of converting it to a 5th bedroom).
Family ValueFinding a unique and memorable location for a family reunion or for bonding with loved ones is a challenging task. The Dome Home in Big Bear has 4 private bedrooms and lots of open space to use the available inflatable air mattresses. Sleep your whole family here or take advantage of the many hotels in the area.
There is only one television set in the house; there are purposely no TVs in any of the bedrooms. We assume that those interested in watching TV would not be seeking the Dome Home experience. We would like the guests to have a unique contemplative or playful experience at the Dome Home without the intrusion of TV.
No TV?The one TV is in the lower level game area where guests can stay up to date with the outside world or watch an inspiring movie on DVD. We encourage guests to engage in fireside chats, read a good book from the library available in the house, watch a good movie, have interesting conversation with other guests, friends or family members on various topics or simply bond with each other in the serene atmosphere of the Dome Home.
We also encourage guests to experience the night-time serenity and quietude of the Big Bear night sky and the crystal clear stars that one can almost reach out and touch on a clear night and breath in the aroma of the tall pine trees. Those are what fond memories are made of.
