The Dome Home is at approximately 7,300 feet elevation. Air is thinner at higher altitudes and also much cleaner. Smog, smoke and other heavy chemicals in the air usually sink to the lowest altitudes. Fleas on animals usually cannot handle the high altitude and you may hear them “pop.” Physical activity and exercise at high altitude will make you tired quicker, but with time the human body adapts to it. A high altitude escape is a great place to have in case of national emergencies, wars or civil unrest. Back to top
